MY 10TH COLLECTION ... AND PERHAPS MY BEST


My latest collection of short fiction is now out. 15 stories and one novella, some of them from the pages of magazines like Cemetery Dance and Phantasmagoria, but with several new tales written specially for this book.

Cold blue eyes were all around him, dozens of pairs of the things. And the silhouettes behind them startled him so much he couldn’t even scream. Gangling, starved-looking shapes, angular in the extreme, the limbs no more than skin-wrapped bone, ribs showing through on the emaciated torsos, fingers very long and tipped with claws. They all had ragged mops of hair that looked pitch black in the cyan light. And under those were faces that embodied the word hunger, with their sunken cheeks and jutting fangs.
